There is no definite ‘right’ order, although there is a logical sequence to discussions we might tend to follow. Review the statements in the order you have put them. Does this flow?

Consider:
Is this how you would handle a real-life meeting or interaction of this kind? If yes, why? If no, why not?

Study question:
Next time you have a meeting or interaction with one other person of at least 15 minutes, where there was something you needed to achieve from it, write down afterwards the order of the discussion. Review this exercise again to see if there was anything you missed, or did differently. Is there something you feel is useful to cover, but often don’t remember to? This could be a learning area for you, so make a note of it and over the next week make sure you include this in relevant discussions.
